About Gill
I’m Gill Frame, a coach, supervisor and thinking partner. I’m also someone who thinks best by talking and walking, drinks far too much tea, and is endlessly curious about what’s really going on beneath the surface – behind the polished answers, the coping strategies, the “I’m fine.”
I’ve been doing this work for a long time, but I still come to it with fresh eyes. What matters most to me is that people feel seen. That they find space to think, to speak honestly, and to reconnect with what’s true for them – especially when something’s shifting, stretching, or just feeling a bit too much.
If you’re here, you’re probably holding something important. A decision. A transition. A role that’s asking more of you. A sense that something needs to change.
You don’t need fixing. You don’t need a formula. You might just need space – to slow down, breathe out, and listen in.
That’s what I offer: thoughtful, human spaces where people can pause, be fully seen and heard, and find their footing again. Sometimes there’s a breakthrough. Sometimes it’s just a small shift that changes everything.
This work isn’t about quick wins or clever solutions. It’s about staying with the questions, noticing what’s underneath, and making room for growth that actually fits.
What I love most is seeing someone come back into alignment with themselves – whether that’s a leader reclaiming their voice, a coach reconnecting with their values, or a team finding a way forward that feels honest and real.
I’ve lived through my own pivots, stretches and unravellings. I know what it’s like to lose your footing – and how powerful it can be to have someone walk beside you. Not to take over, but to witness, reflect, and stay with you while you find your own way.
I live in Scotland, spend as much time as I can in France, and run ReFrames Solutions with the same curiosity that’s shaped much of my life. I’ve been with my husband Stuart for over 40 years – he’s been part of this journey from the start. Our dog Sam is usually not too far from my desk, and I still get a bit too excited by a good notebook. I’m a self-confessed greedy learner. I'm deeply grateful for the family, friends, colleagues and associates who've shaped, supported and challenged me along the way.

Professionally, I’m a certified coach, supervisor and mentor with over 30 years’ experience in leadership, learning and development. I hold a PCC with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), an Accredited Master Coach with the Association of Professional Executive Coaching & Supervision (APECS) and I’ve been running ReFrames Solutions since 2012.
My work spans executive coaching, leadership development, coaching supervision, mentor coaching and thinking partnership. I’ve worked with clients across healthcare, energy, transport, professional services and more – from senior leaders navigating major transitions to coaches refining their craft.
I’m known for being calm, thoughtful and gently challenging. I ask good questions. I listen carefully. I create reflective spaces that feel purposeful but unpressured – where people can get clear, feel more like themselves, and figure out what really matters.

I also design and deliver bespoke leadership programmes. Two of the organisations I’ve partnered with have been recognised with Brandon Hall Group Gold Awards, which I’m quietly proud of – not for the badge, but for what it says about the impact, quality and care behind the work.
I believe that even small shifts in perspective can unlock something powerful. That we don’t need to be more or better – we need to be more ourselves. And that leadership, at its best, is a ripple effect. When a leader gets clear and grounded, it changes the atmosphere around them – in teams, in organisations and in the lives they touch outside of work too.
